Who can share project proposals on BeConnected?
We welcome project proposals from any community group or organisation working in Highland that has a governing document. A governing document outlines the formal rules about how your board will govern and make decisions. Depending on your type of organisation your governing document might be called; 'the constitution', 'the memorandum and articles of association', 'the trust deed' or 'the rules'. If you do not have a governing document and would like help with this, please contact BeConnected@highland.gov.uk.
Types of groups or organisations may include:
- Constituted community groups
- Development trusts
- Voluntary and social enterprises
- Charities
- Co-operatives and community ownership initiative
- Not for profit and community interest companies
- Places of worship
Individuals cannot share project proposals on BeConnected unless they are doing so on behalf of a community-based group or organisation working in Highland that has a governing document.
If you are unsure if your group or organisation can upload a project proposal, please visit our FAQ. If you have further issues, please contact us at BeConnected@highland.gov.uk.
