How the Plan Was Developed

 

The Dingwall & Seaforth Area Place Plan (D&S APP) has been developed in conjunction with various services, organisations and most importantly the communities within our Area. It aims to capture Community Aspirations, Strengths and Opportunities within one overarching Plan which should be used or referred to by services, groups and organisations operating in the Dingwall & Seaforth Area, with a view to ensuring provision and developments reflect our collective community wants, needs and priorities. Through the process of producing the APP, it became clear that many of our Community priorities and aspirations reflect those we have been voicing for some time, but also that new upcoming ideas and opportunities were being identified. In order to make the APP easier to utilise, our aspirations have been categorised under the primary headings of People, Place and Prosperity to reflect the groupings being used by many of the major organisations such as The Highland Council, NHS Highland and the Community Partnership.
