Eligible Organisations

We welcome project proposals from any community group or organisation working in Highland that has a governing document. A governing document outlines the formal rules about how your board will govern and make decisions. Depending on your type of organisation your governing document might be called; 'the constitution', 'the memorandum and articles of association', 'the trust deed' or 'the rules'. If you do not have a governing document and would like help with this, please contact?

Types of groups or organisations may include: 

• constituted community groups
• development trusts
• voluntary and social enterprises
• charities
• co-operatives and community ownership initiative
• not for profit and community interest companies
• places of worship

 

Individuals cannot share project proposals on BeConnected unless they are doing so on behalf of a community-based group or organisation working in Highland that has a governing document.
