Project Overview
The ICT Community Trust seeks investment to deliver a vital expansion of the ICT Community Hub car park, creating 150 additional safe, including accessible parking spaces and a new dedicated junction on Culduthel Road. This development will ensure safe access for families, players, volunteers and community users attending daily football, education, wellbeing and multi‑sport programmes at the Hub.
What We Want to Do
Funding is required to:
Construct a 150‑space car park with appropriate surfacing and drainage whilst respecting the sites established trees and potential archeological significance.
Install pedestrian safety features, including pathways, signage and controlled access points.
Build a new junction to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion at peak times.
Support safe, reliable access for major events, tournaments, workshops and community programmes.
Why This Project Matters
The ICT Community Hub is a key asset within the Areas Place Plan, supporting priorities around health, wellbeing, youth development, community cohesion and inclusive access. Current parking capacity limits participation, creates congestion on neighbouring streets and reduces safety for children and young people. Expanding the car park strengthens local infrastructure, supports sustainable community growth and ensures the Hub remains accessible for all.

Safer access for over 600 weekly participants across sport, education and wellbeing programmes.
Increased participation, particularly for families facing transport or mobility barriers.
